This weekend, Rowan Tree Scientific joined forces with the British Computer Society at the Swansea Science Fair, bringing robotics, AI, and engineering to life for hundreds of curious visitors.

And yes, one of our own droids had an out-of-this-world encounter with a Stormtrooper!

Definately a “These are not the droids you are looking for ! ” moment…

The meeting of science fiction and real-world robotics drew plenty of smiles and selfies. While the Stormtrooper might still need a little more target practice, our robots were locked onto their mission, inspiring the next generation of engineers, coders, and creators.

Throughout the day, visitors got hands-on with our STEM robotics demos, exploring how sensors “feel the Force,” how code gives machines life, and how today’s technology is edging ever closer to the droids of our favorite galaxy far, far away.

It was an incredible day of curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, and we couldn’t be prouder to support the BCS in championing STEM education and engagement.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the BCS stand, whether you were a Jedi, a Trooper, or just a curious explorer, we loved sharing the wonder of robotics with you.
